I have been using a MTX6500D Amp for my two 10" Subs and worked really well. Now that I am selling the car, the amp decides to die. The power light illuminates but, no output. Since repairing an amp probably will cost what a new amp costs, I just replaced it. I bought the Alpine MRP-M650 and it sounds much better and hits harder. I set both amps to the same power output and both are rated at 600 Watts RMS. This is a very nice amp and I highly recommend it. I probably will use the same amp for my Vette when I replace the stereo system.
