Stealth box ok?
Just want to get some feedback on my thoughts, I have a 10" audiobahn Sound Q series sub, model ALUM10N. They say a min. of .5 cu. ft. in a sealed enclosure and the driver takes up .15 cu.ft. So would I be alright putting it in a MDF stealth box and stuffing some poly fill in there? or should I fab/buy a fiberglass stealth enclosure that could have maybe .7 cu. ft.? My concern is that the fiberglass enclosure would flex much more than MDF, unless this is a wrong assumption. With this being a somewhat of a powerful sub would a fiberglass enclosure be strong enough and more importantly will it sound as good as a MDF box?

I would be makin my own box, I like being able to say that I built my own stuff. I was just trying to get some feedback on whether to use MDF or fiberglass. I have a couple of ideas on how to gain a lil more air space in the box, plus it would make my box just a lil bit different and have a totally custom look to it.

well for my first fiberglass box i built the box out of mdf the wrapped the box in the fiberglass mat and coated with resin, then coat the inside of the box with just resin. this is what i did and it turned out really good, but some others on this site might have some more insight i would also do a search it helped me out a lot good luck
