Installing PAC swi x ?

Default Installing PAC swi x ?

How hard is it to install this steering wheel control?

Cake.

Literally 3 wires, and run a wire for the sensor.

Just use the right connectors (or solder & heat shrink). The P/O of my car just did the twist and electrical tape method..

I spent a little but of time on the install (under an hour though). My adapter harness for my deck had an extra wire for something I didn't need, so rather than splice into factory GM wiring, I moved the extra wire to the correct pin on the adapter harness, then I just hooked that wire to the signal wire on the SWI-X and spliced the power to the same 12 volt that turns the deck on when you turn the key on and the stereo's ground...that way it's all contained in the stereo adapter harness.

Works great...I enjoy it every day.
