The eD 7kv.2 (formerly EU-700) subs are the only other ones I know of that are 6.5" DVC 4ohm+4ohm. They had been on backorder for some time but appear to be in stock at the moment. They mount and wire pretty much like the factory subs except that they need a spacer since the mounting depth is greater. I have them in my car and they sound much better than you would expect for being only 6.5" diameter.

I had the bazooka subs and I was not impressed at all. They dont fit very well and the sound quality is lousy at increased volumes. I would get the kickers if I was doing it over.

Kicker 6.5" DVC subs? I haven't seen them.

Perhaps you're expecting too much...most everyone who has installed the Bazookas has been quite happy with the ease of installation and the sound quality compared to stock Monsoon sail panel subs. We're not talking about separately amplified subs in boxes here - that's a whole different level of sound (and price).

We're not talking a high-end brand or product here, either, but OEM speakers in cars are usually worse than even Pyramid speakers. The Bazookas should be a "bit" of an upgrade and will probably satisfy people that want "a bit more" bass, and nothing more.

Note: If you do go SVC, don't even consider Kicker. Go Peerless SLS.
