Does Aftermarket radios work with factory amps?

Does Aftermarket radios work with factory amps? i was told that if i put a aftermarket radio in i would have to run wires to all the speakers because of the factory amps is this true

No...the stock radios use standard 4 speaker outputs and they run to the factory amp to power all the speakers. Just replacing the head unit will work just fine.
The only 4th Gen. F-Bodies the above statement doesn't apply to is the '93-'96 Bose equipped Camaro.
