00 SS vs 95 Cobra Me and my buddy were at Hooters last saturday afternoon somewhere in Mexico getting ready to go to a car show about 15 minutes away. so we leave and are traveling down a 4 lane interstate and have a clear stretch in front of us and can't resist. Now we both understand that my car is faster, he having a 95 Cobra which is a 14 second car, I slow down to about 50 and he pulls along side, we both look at each other and grin. He takes the hit first then I punch mine. He jumps about a car on me but I immediately start pulling. I started in 3rd and am about a car and a half in front when I shift to 4th and really start leaving him. At 120 I slow down and we continue to the car show. When we get there we are having a beer and I said man you hung pretty well at the start and he said the best thing a mustang guy can say....
"Man I really love the smell of your exhaust, it smells like nitros."
