How does a near stock LT1 M6 vert beat a near stock LS1 M6 vert?
Easy, give the LS1 car 3 good sized dudes for passengers to me and my little wife in the LT1 and take some cocky LS1 pride. I'm just intake and muffler, he had an exhaust, unknown if any other mods - he definetly had a stronger clutch that me.
I'm sure without all the extra sausage we would have had a close race with the LS1 car pulling topend, but from the slow rolls (5mph) and digs we ran from, this guy didn't have much hope, I'd put a car or so on him and let out. Even getting on the highway from 50mph right up into the triple digits I just sat on this guys back porch as he tired to pull some distance on me. He was probably about ready to pull over and make his buddies get out so he'd have a shot.

I have the driver mod, not sure about the other guy - I didn't hear him missing gears... He defintely was all about racing, he made a few comments when we were along side him at the first light about racing, so it was definetly on.
