Default Finally got a run in

Well I've been wanting to get a run in to see where my car stands since the new engine and intake/exhaust.

My car is a 98 T/A. Full weight. 3.73s, 4k stall, 370/350 rwhp. My mods are 347, 238/242-605/610, LS6 intake, stock tb, yadda and LS2 heads with a 5 angle and 2.05 intake valves, stock exhaust, but they are Ferra's. I really think the heads are hurting me due to the large intake valve and possibly a crummy *** valve job from the local machine shop.

Anyway on to the story. I just ran my friends 03 Z06, stock with a borla cat back. He put down 370 also, but I don't know the torque.

We hit it from a 45 roll and where neck and neck until he pulled a half car on me about 100 and we stayed like that until we shut it down at 120. I figure that's not bad considering how much less he weighs than I do, but I was really hoping I could've beat at least to 120-25. What do you guys think?

You definitely need to finish the exhaust, 370rwhp from a rather healthy cam like that is pretty low.

Good race, but it's to be expected with the weight difference. I bet you get him pretty good form a dig though (as long as you have a tire).
