Default Challenger SRT-8 vs H/C 137k mi T/A

This was totally one of those opportunistic kills.. we were just cruising around a town, on our way to an early dinner, when I see him coming up hard in the right lane.

He had every advantage.. He rolled on us, having about 10-15mph.. we had about 100lbs of groceries from Sam's in the back (cat litter, 2 bags of cat food, 10lbs of meat, etc), and had the A/C on (his was off, windows were down)..

I hit it from about 2500rpm in second, and by the top of second, he was already back to my rear fender... Hit third and wound that out, and he was a full car length behind.

Mrs. Eskimo was just laughing..

As I was reading(didn't see the sig) I thought you were in the Challenger. The Eskimos are cold, but I guess he asked for it

Why in the world would you feel it necessary to mention the mileage on your car? It seems that ppl think a higher mileage car will run worse for some reason?? Good kill regardless.

Maybe he had 200 lbs of groceries in his trunk and without them, he would have got ya.

Good kill.

Because engines tend to lose compression over time and mileage.. They don't run worse, but they don't make as much power as a fresh one, either.
