I never saw the Mach 1 heat up his tires, WTF? No wonder he spun off the line. Once he hooked though, it was all over! Nice Bullitt by the way.

That should make it more interesting. I know you admitted you were outmatched by the mach and just wanted to test your car but even if your car was a freak and ran better than every other bolt on 3v out there you would still get walked by a car with that power. I guess I'm saying I see you point but it still doesn't make sence to me.

Dude, just stick with a KB and spin it like a real man @ 20+lbs. The 3.4 will be useless unless you have a stout bottom end anyway.

I bet if you ask Livernois, they will tell you not to run a 3.4L Whipple.
Great choice in engine builders though. They make stout short blocks.

And I have to ask, WHY? I just think people go off the deep end with some of these power expectations. I know when I decided to do my build, I said if we got over 500hp to the rear wheels, that would be great! I don't know about you, but I sure don't have an unlimited budget for tire replacements, and trying to get over 500hp to the pavement, while preserving the tires, is almost impossible!

Not trying to talk you out of anything, just curious as to why you think all that power is necessary in a street car. Good luck with it though!

Basically the same 3-valve mod motor that is in the 2010 Mustang GT.

Nice car! I like the clean look of the Bullitt!

To my knowledge Whipple doesn't have a 3.4L kit that will directly bolt onto the 3V. There is a company that makes an adapter, but the only direct bolt-on Whipple for the 3V is a 2.3L.

Our 2.3L Whipple 3V with Livernois 298ci stroker, stage 3 CNC heads, stock cams, and 12-13 lbs. of boost goes 10.7 @ 131 mph on 20 inch wheels and only makes 540 RWHP.

I personally love the Whipple blowers. Here's another video of a car we built with a Whipple... Shelby GT500 w/ 3.4L Whipple.
