Knocked the smile off a Daytona R/T
Today, I got outta class early, and had some time to kill, so i figured i'd cruise down the highway and hunt for some prey. I saw another LS1 Z28 but wanted something different. So i keep cruising down the highway and see something that excited me a little bit, a charger R/T Daytona I get up next to him and throw a little rev and he gets a cocky little grin on his face. We keep cruising down looking for an opening and finally get one. I didn't think to setup a roll cause the guy didn't seem like the type that would understand a roll race. So we're crusing at about 75 and I see him hit it, so I hit it. We're dead even for the first few seconds, and then he starts gaining on me and actually noses out on me and the dude starts laughing, but just as he did, I started reeling him back in, and had about a car on him by the time I shut down at 130. Needless to say, the guy wasn't laughing then So I got what I consider my best kill yet and got to quiet a cocky mopar owner at the same time! I really gotta start carrying my camera with me again, i'm sick of getting kills and just telling stories.
anyways....compliment, critisize, hate, praise, whatever ya do, do your thing

Seems to me that it shouldn't have been that close of a race with your mod's unless he wasn't stock... But if the 1/8th mi. mph in ur sig is with your current mods then I could see it being that close. That mph is low even for a stock a4 car, should be closer to 86ish mph IMO...

I have no clue what year it was. It was metallic orange. And stock A4's should trap 86? Cause from what i've seen it's been anywhere from 80-83 depending on FDR (2.73's btw )

On DR's i probably would be. On Kumho's, I doubt it. Also had a flowmaster catback when I ran that time. But when I head back to the strip next month i'm gonna have pacesetter lt's, custom ORX to moroso spiral flows dumped before axle, and will be running slicks. Hopefully I will have 3.73's before the season is over with.

flowmaster doesn't make headers. And pacesetters from what I heard are the best bang for your buck when it comes to a header. Cheap and still shows good gains.

Good Kill, and with 2.73s i would have thought you could pull a little more then that. and Biscuitdipper99 alot of ppl say pacesetters sucks but really they flow awesome for the price that what i had on my car and just a header swap and a TSP turndown took me from 13.1@106 to 12.7@111...oh and a tune but thats a given

In case anyone didn't know, my exhaust is cut off at the stock Y right now. No backpressure= not pulling like I should. I probably actually would have done better with the flowmaster still on.
