He was approaching a red light and is more inexperienced racing, but he could've gone a little more.
Hopefully a re-match to higher speeds soon..

Cobb probably makes the best software for cars under warranty but their stage 1-12psi map is probably one of the most conservative tunes out there.
What really wakes a 335 up is methanol-20psi.

Thanks man, my car had a little more advantage than this 335i in that I had a little more boost, catless downpipes, and intercooler when we ran. Catbacks on these cars net next to no gains. It's all in the DP. I'm not surprised in the outcome though as I run a little more boost than the OP so a gto taking a tuned 335i is not much of a surprise to me. There is little to no way to know if the 335i you are running is stock, tune only, or full bolt ons(sans catback) with or without meth. Most guys don't go for a catback so visual or audible ques are hard to determine the level of modification these cars have.

Agree. Mine with a mild twin turbo upgrade is around 475whp and wtq on pump + meth, looks stock.

Now the first single turbo upgrade is out and at 625whp headed to 700 on all stock internals:

Nice runs, guys. Goat definitely gets the nod but they were good runs. I like those 335i's.

I saw that thread and they are bringing that kit to the lighter 135i as well. I'm picking one of those up in a week or so and will be doing that once it becomes available on the market. 3200lbs and 600+whp. Will be tons of fun.

I've beaten a couple stock gto's, a stock m3 and ran even with a C5 (exhaust was only mod). they were all very close races and it's always fun with a large truck and surprising people with it. the vette for sure had a manual since it's a friend of mine. I got him by probably 1/2 car when we shut them down.

I'd love to put more $ into it and get it into the high 500s, but that money is going into the s10 to make more power there (not that it needs it )

yea, my buddy would pull up to imports all the time and embarrass them. nothing like watching an 8000 pound truck walk a 1900 pound honda

anytime will. its a 6.0 lq4 with a healthy cam and headers. should be around 460hp at the crank. dyno'd little over 300 through a 4wd drivetrain on 35"tires (runs on 42s normally)

It runs pretty good for turning such a large tire. pretty fun seeing 60+ mph at the sand dunes

Yeah, was going to say I didn't think it was for straight line racing. Do you rock climb in it or just off road stuff. Sorry, I'm a newb to everything off roads.

Damn, I remember that S-10/ZR2 from the ZR2.com days when it had a BDS and chrome wheels, lol...it's alot different now.

It's cool you've held on to it all these years...had to give my mine up when the family got bigger. Rocking a BlaZeR2 for a winter beater though haha.
