Not to long ago, I had the opportunity to run a nice looking white 2011 Vette. Long story short, his buddies were trying to get him to run a mustang at the local meetup, his words were "No mustang out here can beat me". I asked what he had, he told me a white corvette. I told him I'd run him, he replied "I got nothing but time" so I said lets go. We had 2 runs, a 40 hit I shut down at about 125 had about 5 cars on him. We did a dig run afterwards and once I pulled out about 2 cars he shut it down. Awesome looking car, he said that he was gonna go trade his car in on a Z06 the next morning lol.

Ohh he was bone stock.

I have a 2.59 upper pulley, Offroad xpipe, drag radials, and jon lund tune.

Nice kill. Lund is the man for tuning. He is doing my new tune next week. A stock c6 is no match for a GT500 specially with your mods. Both drivers equal you win all day. The Z06 will be a better match for sure.

A stock Z06 and you would be a lot better run though then a stock C6. Have you had it at the track or on the dyno?

Honestly for street use I've been running them for about 6 yrs, I had an 04 Cobra before the 500. I can mash 1st gear even with the 3:73's and it damn near dead hooks for a 20 hit. At the track on a stock IRS in the Cobra I was cutting 1.8 60ft times, nothing all that awesome but decent.

For street use I think they are the best, track use I'd go M/T.

I run same setup on street and track. I make a little over 620whp/520wtq on a dynocom dyno Just put a 3800 stall in and Lund is retuning it this coming week. We see how numbers compare to a dyno jet.

Ya I know about lund. I have a friend who is personal friends with lund. I am dropping car off at maximum velocity in San Antonio Tuesday and will pick it up when done.

Also see you are in Columbus GA. Military? I am headed that way in August to be station at Benning. Trying to get a deferment after my surgery I just had.

lol I wasn't old enough to be around with the c5's were considered fast, but man I've met some really stupid c6 guys. They think because they have the new corvette...nothing can touch it.

I had a guy tell me that he was cutting 1.4 60's with is bone stock Z51 C6 on the F1 Supercars. Like...reallllllllly? haha I have to assume the c5 guys were the same way when those were fast too though, its just annoying and gives everyone a bad name.

He was a younger guy, just landed a well paying job from what I could tell from his convo's with his friends. He wasn't car savy at all...he really just thought because he was in a vette that nobody could touch him without a equal car lol.

I had a Guy tell me he cut a 1.1 60ft one time in a 03 mustang. He had a cat back exhaust and cold air. Said the slicks did it for him. I was like a1.1. He was like ya. I said amazing cause my full bolt on manual 5.0 that makes 200whp more only cut a 1.57. He was serious as hell and told me well you just have practice I been drag racing for about 2 yrs. What was even funnier he said he lined up against some G8 about 6 months before he. Eat that had nitrous and all. I laughed and said ya that was my car. I remember you. Your son was talking to mine. You ran a 14 to my 11. He then got pissed when I showed him the video my son took and he walked off pissed in front of his friends.

In a sense your like Morpheus to the vette guy. You gave him a choice. He could keep belieaving that his corvette was fast. Or have you open his eyes to whats real. Though he may not like it there is no going back

dont know if it was mentioned but was it an ls2/3? I owned an 03 cobra, sold it and now have an ls2 c6 now. I ran into my old cobra and when we went at it, he pulled me by about 1 1/2 cars.... I dynoed that car at about 470 and my c6 has about 370 so. very believeable
