Intake/longtube LS2 GTO vs cammed/bolt on 06 mustang GT *Dig run w/ vid*
Lined my brothers LS2 goat up with a buddies mustang GT this weekend from a dig. We knew the GTO was not going to be anywhere near the stang off the line due to the crap stock aurora 245's but we figured it'd be a fun game of catch up! Enjoy.
2006 GTO M6: Svede intake, kooks 1 7/8" longtubes, tune
2006 GT M5: Headers, exhaust, HR cams, 4.30 gears, M&H drag radials
GTO's top end REALLY shines in this vid lol. 4th gear is the kill gear. And the reason the mustang lets off is because theres an orange reflector that marks the end of roughly a 1/4 mile. Stang has gone 12.6 at 108 mph. With drag radials, I see the GTO going bottom 12's at around 112-113 mph or so.

He's still on stock airbox lol. I'm sure thats holding him back a bit. He has a few parts at home like an intake and a few other things that he hasn't had a chance to put on yet.

Well race any race whether it's a dig or roll because were in it for the fun factor, nothing more. A good old dig race now and then really is a blast though! It's cool to show how different setups work.

Good runs. Roll race wouldn't be any contest from what it seemed like toward the end. Definitely good runs. A race has to end at some point. Stang did real good off the line.
