Oh I am more than sure of that. Even when I talk about the 6gen SS, I just like trash talking... its fun. So when I DO run one, I don't know the outcome. They are fast. I DO think I can beat a stock one. I also think one with tire/tune would be a good race. Its all in fun either way. Hio and crew take all of this way too seriously. Win some, lose some.

Yup.......and poppa would likely look at the back of a good bolt on ls1 .

Too bad Hammer is the only person in the world with a "good 'bolt on' LS1."

Lol at the guy that said cam only 4th gens can trap mid 120s. Maybe fully gutted with lightweight everything yeah. Otherwise not happening without some bottle fed assistance. The reality of it is that most trap 115-117 in good conditions with a good driver.
I love running bolt on fith gens in my 00' Hawk. I am exhaust/tune only and still walk a lot of them. I even have stock 3.42's and an LS1 intake. 5.0's walk me most of the time but rarely a fith gen. Circle D's converter only fith gen is definitely an exception to that rule though. You are doing well to out run cammed fourth gens.

This. And if poppa did "good" bolt-on's to Hio's standards, he would walk them "good" bolt-on LS1's. But for some reason Hio type "bolt-on's" only apply to LS cars. Which is strange because them "bolt-on's" can also be done to other cars, like 5.0's.

You wanna know the real strange part? Ls1 record and 5br0 record is only a tenth apart.

It's just how you come off, like LS cars are the only ones that can be setup right. It's always, the LS car "should do this", but strangely never said for anything else.

Well.....other cars can be set up right to. Hence my example of the 5br0 and the ls1 only being a tenth apart in there most rightest set up

That's true and once you go to aftermarket cam and heads the 5.0 seems to fall a ways behind

That's trash in Hio's eyes. Those mods should be 7.6s in the 1/4.
