I don't believe the race weight for that z was ever posted. He said "its a stock appearing c5z" which leads me to believe its a race car, which is fine, no more race than the Mustang I posted. Also doesn't say if the heads were milled, just a bunch of vague info. Either way that z sure was fast.
P.S. You don't think that Coyote could have picked up 2mph with cams?

My bad, I was thinking 139 for some reason. Still pretty good for a sealed motor which that vette cannot say and a rw within 100lbs. Imagine how fast that car would have went with a cj. Mid nines and 136+ for sure

The article i seen in ff&m had the jpc car @26xx. I have seen other weights but it seems it may be 100+ lighter.
Yup......i hope he revisits that someday. He said he thinks there is .2-.3 left in it. It would be great to see a bolt on ls6 rip off a 9.8 or 9.7 and add a mph or 2
