What's their reasoning for the new Mach then?

Seems like they've already covered each style of driving even before introducing the new Mach 1.

GT500 = Drag/Straight Line
GT350/R = Track
Regular 5.0 = Track or Straight Line
Ecoboost = ***
Mach 1 = ???

What was the idea behind the Mach in 2003? It's the middle man. Back then, it was the GT < Mach < Cobra.

Now its GT < Mach < GT350.

03 cobro and coyote are pretty equal. And both are a drivers race with an F body. My old a4 z28 beat both cars with a dirty k&n air filter and cat/back exhaust . Lol @ Ford's supercharged v8's. ***** weak.

I saw that coming. I mean I can do little bolt on to a fbody and murder a STOCK 5.0... I don't see what is so surprising.

03 cobra isn't a good car to compare to a fbody. I mean ford forge and supercharge the car to beat a fbody. The fbody can compete with the allmighty supercharge cobra still being NA even both being modded. So I wouldn't call that a win there

Yes. Stock cobros are typically 13 second cars. And Cam only f body's are faster than pullied cobros.

Mach 1 competed with the F Bombs though. Mach 1 vs SS/Z28/WS6 is a drivers race for sure.

No it didn't lol. Maybe from 0-60 with Mach on DRs and F body on all seasons. After that the Mach gets its **** pushed in hard.

My 99 cobra with BBK intake ,tune and cat back exhaust had trouble with stock fbodys on the hwy. Maybe light to light if the fbodys blows the tires off.

Exactly. No stock/LBO machs or NA cobras could even come close to my lid only LS1 from a roll. From a dig the race was over once I hit 2nd gear.

As far as I know you're quoting the MT test where they shredded the tires thru 1st and 2nd in the 6 speed mustang. Camaro was an auto and dead hooked. Not apples to apples by any means

Basically every test has a .7-1 second gap between the two cars. The 5.0 is actually incredibly slow stock.

These guys got chevy ****** going in their butts and coming out their mouths. Back in college my best buddy had a 98 Cobra and my other Friend has a 99 SS. Both had catbacks and thats it. They used to race all the time. Always door to door or whoever got the best launch would win. But here on the tech its uncountable bus lengths. So dumb.

Obviously not the average outcome though. We can all admit that the Fbody basically destroyed every mustang pre 2011 with the exception of the 03-04 Cobra.

Oh boy......


Stock bro any year as well as Cobro will beat an ls fbomb even one with a lid that does nothing. If you are beating them something is really really wrong wits car or the driver. My best time in a Cobro and I could never quite get the launch down was 12.7 113. No lid Fbomb is touching that sorry

98 Cobra is tough to launch. They move out but still mod for mod even a 273 auto ls should beat one.

Only reason a bro can haing with a Cobro is the bro gearing is optimal.
