Ws6 Vs 350z From A Roll! I Was Getting On The Highway Coming From Downtown When A Black 350z Lines Up Right Next To Me At 45 Mph. I Decide To Take Up A Notch And Get It Up To 60. He Stays Right Next To Me As If To Try To Tell Me That His Car Can Take Mine. I Had To Teach Him About The Ls1 Top End!! So I Decided To Take It To Another Level. I Gun It And Do My Thing And Before I Know It I Am A Bus And A Half In Front Of Him At 140! The Guy Kept On Chasing Me Everytime That I Slowed Down He Tried To Fly Past Me. Every Time That I Slowed Down I Would Do My Thing Again And Put A Bus Or Two On Him. So I Decided To Let Him Get A Lead On Me, About Two Cars Or So, And I Still Blew Right Past Him Putting About 5 Cars On Him. Wow The Guy Never Learned Until He Finally Got Off The Highway After The 5 Mile Tour.
Is It Me Or Are Those 350z Guys A Little Over Confident In Their 6 Cylinder Maxima Engine?

Chances are, it is the first "fast" car they have ever driven. Think about it. In high school, I drove a POS 4 banger. I thought a "fast" car was a 95 Mustang GT. Hell, even my mom's V6 Chrysler Concorde felt fast as hell compared to mine. Then my brother got a nice Honda Prelude, and when it scratched the tires in second, I was pretty impressed.
It is all relative. The fact that it is probably the fastest car they've owned teamed with the high probability that they equate our cars to the mid-80s f-bodies that are pretty slow is all it would take to make them confident (maybe even over-confident).
Sorry, been thinking about this one for a while, because I keep getting the stank eye from all sorts of 350Z owners that still won't run me because my exhaust is pretty loud...they sure look like they want some though. Nice kill!

sweet kill man!!! 350Z's just cant hang with the Ls1...now im gonna tell u watch those sleepers out there that have greddy kits on em...they will DEF give u a run for ur money

Go for it, you'd tear him a new one.
A buddy of mine got a new 350z coupe when they first came out in the fall of 03, a couple weeks later i got my Camaro, it was completely stock then. We raced one day from a light, nothin big just messin around, off the line we were even (mainly because i was just gettin used to my new car and those m6 lt1's on shitty tires are a bitch to launch), but by second I had about a car lenth on him. That was with a stock lt1 and a coupe 350, an ls1 vs. a vert 350 isnt even a contest. I guessin hes ganna be stock?

i think the sales people are feeding these buyers all sorts of crap just to make a sale....
besides that, i have no idea why these 350z owners SWEAR their rides are quick. They all seem to think that they all drive an exotic. OHH, it must be the exhaust note....
anyways, agree to the race. Toy with him a bit and then let him have it....enough to have him smiling and then.....
