Dan03mach1.....I call BS
I don't believe for a second you run "low 11's" with the following:
"just full exhaust, CAI, Completely built up drivetrain from the Clutch all the way to the rearend.. 3.73 gears, Skinnies, ET Streets, a little weight reduction by taking out the back seat, spare tire, and jack, Rear suspension mods, Upper and lower control armes with adjustable shocks..The front suspension is still bone stock"
With those mods, you are @about 320rwhp, and the lightening you claim only drops you down about 75lbs, so your car is ~3375lbs. And come to think of it, your "built up drivetrain" may have added a good amount of that weight back if not all of it.(not sure what tranny you have).
Just an an example, 2001 Z06's weigh at least 300lbs less than that and dyno ~20rwhp higher, yet the absoluter highest I have ever seen a bone stock one get is around 11.9 and I think that was with DR's. You can even include 2002 Z06's too. I've seen lists of the best of the best times of the stock and CAI & drag's only Z06's and they all have significantly more power and weigh significantly less and none run low 11's. Mid 11's is the best of the best you'll see.
So how do you possibly manage "LOW 11's" from a car weighing well over 3300lbs and only putting about 320 to the wheels. I don't care how much suspension work you have, I just don't see how thats possible.
I call major B.S. !!
And I don't care if you post a time slip, you either arent telling the whole story or have tricks up your sleeve with internal work or hidden N20 etc etc.
What was your mph by the way?

You have no clue as to what you are talking about, all those mods you listed give him MAJOR traction, he may not trap very high but he can cut his et's very low. You are comparing oranges and apples.

I know he has serious traction, so do Z06's with properly heated DR's, maybe not quite as much as his car, but still. When you consider the big weight and power advantage of the Z, plus having decent traction, yet I've never seen or heard of a single CAI & DR only Z06 running low 11's...and they have been around since 01....it still seems very far fetched to me.

Consider that an Evo can run LOW 13's in the LOW 100mph range. Now, consider that his Mach could be 60'ing at around 1.5-1.7. Now, consider that a stock Mach can trap at around 105ish or so. Factor in that he has gears. Factor in the slicks. Low 11's is a stretch, but I would NOT rule it out at all. If he has a timeslip it would help his claim a lot though.

I will admit I am not an expert on drag racing, but I have still been around enough and observed 100's of thousands of track times with tons of different cars over many years and I don't care what anyone comes in here and says, I am totally convinced he is FOS. Either his time slips are BS or he has further hidden or unmentioned work done to the car.

You have gearing as well as hp difference there. I agree, its kinda a lofty claim, but then again, suspension on a mustang goes A VERY LONG WAY. Stock internal fox's have hit low 13's/12's with just bolt on's(no, not N20 or FI) and a MAD suspension.

He's only got 3.73's not much off from the Z06 gearing. Again, suspension only takes you so far which is mostly just the initial launch and than it becomes about weight and power. Read my above post. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it! just after hearing about his mach1 for so long and than seeing 300bhp's post, I finally had to make a post to voice my thoughts.

I also have to agree.
I have 2 friends with mach 1's. Both can drive good also
The fastest one of the two has alot of mods also, some are suspension mods, exhaust, weight reduction also, and running a 100 shot on a set of MT streets. He cuts 1.6 60 foot times at 4,500 rpm launches and his best 1/4 mile to date is a 11.8
He also is tuned

He has a very good driver mod as well. Ask him what RPM he launches at. He may reply with "6,000rpm clutch dumps" Thats what he told me.
Last time I saw on the forum, I could have sworn his car was weighing 3,1XXlb w/o driver. Maybe hes got a lot more weight reduction, then again, maybe your not factoring in those numbers correctly. Taking out carpet, shift-****, door panels, add up to alot of weight.
His car is fast and I know a few people who dont use the clutch will shifting either *ouch*.
He told you, "low 11's on the stock motor" Is 95% of his motor stock (5% being CAI, exhuast, etc.)? He might be running a little n20 but his motor is almost entirely stock. (I believe so) Mid-high 11's with his setup is definately attainable (thats w/o the n20) As to the low-11's, I'd leave it to him to explain. Keep it to PM's man, stop trying to make people look bad. We dont want name calling around here now do we?

I agree, he never posted anything malicious towards you on public forum as far as i could tell. Keep it private unless you KNOW. I think it could go either way, but i take my original stance in that yes, he probably DOES run those times.

Jim, I am going by what he said was done to his car. The weight reduction he mentioned clearly didn't include carpet etc etc and will not bring a mach1 to 3100lbs. If thats his actual race weight well than right off the bat you can see he's a BSer about whats all ACTUALLY done to his car. If he has more done to his car than he stated (see quote in initial post) than my point begins to be proven.....

You see, If by saying "he has more done to his car" you mean he has more weight reduction than what he is saying....I dont see whats wrong with that. Thats a variable anyways, he could always throw that extra weight, he took out of the car, back in and race.
KB, dont sweat it man . Go read the sticky about 5,XXX,XXX ways you can lighten your car, you'd really be amazed. We all love to "sandbag" a little, don't we?

I've been listening to him and his little gang of mach1ers spew out in every single mustang thread how bad *** their cars are which includes numerous vulgar insults and what I belive to be lots of BS in countless threads since they came to this board.
If i want to finally post my thought publicly I should have every right. I am not calling him a "******* idiot" like he likes to do to other people. I am simply stating I think that he is spewing BS on this forum.

I have no problems at all believing he runs "Low 11's" on the N20. HE IS CLAIMING THAT HE RUNS LOW 11'S NA!!(Just full exhaust & CAI). thats what I am saying is BS!
