We weren't racing per se, but I heard him downshift (had nasty fart cannons) and get on it. I was about 5 carlengths behind him in the next lane, and was about a second late in responding, but I was able to make up the difference in speed and start to close the gap when he decided to get off the freeway. Probably a 75-95 run. Mods below....was he not on it all the way, or do they really have no top end?

were you in that truck? if so...he wasn't on it...top end is really all they do have. mine runs a 13.7@107 with a Nismo CAI..they just can't launch for crap.

they are not as fast as most people think. i caught one pretty quick after a he took a right run and nailed it. he had about 2 to 3 cars before i turned the corner. took a couple of seconds for my to catch him and pass him. what mods you have it would have been a good run.
(EDIT)i just saw your home page. by the times you ran before the headers it would have been a good race. i have seen them at the track and not one was in the 13's.

Tryin to flame me? that's cool. i'm not sayin 13.7@107 is top end,just that that truck,nice as it is,wouldn't keep up with it.(i don't consider 75-95 a top end run at all..you still have 64 mph to go.. notice that YOUR 1/4 mile best, is .4 quicker than my Z,yet same speed...means you gripped,i slipped...and no,i'm not gonna sit here and say that my Z is faster than all LT1's and LS1's...cause my T/A will make the Z look silly.. but the mostly stock ones,yes...

Your truck is bad *** but the 350Z was not trying. You put 4 to 5 car lengths in too short of a period. If it was a race you would have still had 3 to 5 lengths from 75 to 90.

Stock it should be a low 14 second and maybe a tenth or 2 quicker in the 1/4 with a top speed of 156 mph (governed I am sure).

The 350Z is a nice little 2 seater and they can be pretty quick with a turbo kit.

Regardless, I think the message is clear that he wasn't on it 100%, which is what I was thinking, but I wanted some opinions.

I like to play anywhere I want - I've had plenty of people tell me to take the grille guard off and lower it, make it a street truck, etc, but I think a pretty fast truck that can offroad too is better than a really fast truck that can't....just my opinion. If everything goes well for me in the next 6 months or so, maybe I'll have the best of both worlds, then I really will be able to beat the Z .

What year is your Z? That's a nice trap for a Z with just an intake. Are the 300hp anniversary Z's out yet? They are great little cars, my old man has one and I still consider it to be pretty quick.

Well I wasn't trying to flame you at all in that post, because upper 13's at that speed means you really do have good top end, but seeing the rest of the **** you had to pull out of your *** in that post...

And no, my T/A did not grip by any means in my 13.3 run. 2.1 MIGHT be a decent 60' on shitty all-season tires, but there was much wheelspin during that run.

not sure bout the 300hp annv. editions..mines an 03. yeah,it runs pretty good for a v6...a lil faster than all the other Z's ive raced,except 1 Power Enterprise TT Z...he beat my *** once he gripped
