Default 04 STI vs 99 SS from a stop

He ran 13.40 @ 100 stock and now has no cats and a bigger down pipe with a KN( no times yet with new mods).
Anyways I ran him acouple times from the roll and would pull him back in after giving him the jump. That dam things spools so qiuck he would jump a car right off the bat. Finally get a light and he reved and dumped at around 4500 and me at about 1100 rpm. He pulled out a car on the start then I evened it out and was beside him by 60 and was passed him by 80. We both have run 8.50's in the 1/8 so with his new mods I wasn't sure what was gonna happen. He does know my bad race speeds as I have a A4, we raced from 45 and he pulled 3 cars on me and I couldn't get back up to him by 100. I don't race from 45 at all but we were curious to see what it would do. Anyway the STI fair well but he drives the hell out of it to.

Stall it and you wont have to worry so much about the 45 mph jump.

Good runs, those STI's are no joke.
