heh, ran another bike tonight... ..and won. 
It looked like a SV500/650, so I know it isn't a great kill, but it's still a bike. 
Went from about 75mph (bottom of 3rd gear for me) to ~130ish. I was even with him at about 120mph, and pulled to the top of 4th (135+). He also got the jump. Fun stuff.
