Me vs 03snake ported/pullied/tuned ect....
Ran my 5177 sprayed 01 M6 SS against my buddys 03snake today...his mods are steg ported blower, 2.90rr pulley, RWTD tune, magnaflow catback (no mufflers) , cold air intake.
My mods in the sig running 100shot......we hit it 2 times from a 45mph. He was in second...rpm??...and I chose to go to 3rd at 3000rpm..(shifting at 6400)...it was pretty neck and neck on the first run but it felt like my fpss cut in once or twice and we were locked door to door. On the second run he missed 3rd......On the 3rd try we hit it same gear starts for both of us and buy the top of 4th I had him buy 3/4 car and pulling. We shut it down around 120.
THEN.....we went back to his house and installed a 2.80 pulley and idler tensioner (UPR) and back to the street.
I knew I was low on N20 the first runs but had no trouble but this go around.......
We ran from the same gears positions and 45mph again. The first run he put 1/2 car on me.....my car was surging a bit! But I raced again and the 2nd run he put 3/4-1 car on me but my **** was surging bad!!!
Hey, he won the second round but we are gonna have are rematch and all I want is a full bottle! No jet changes here, I don't think I need to.
Did I mention I had my dirty *** paper filter in the lid and I have a bad 02 sensor on the drive side.....I weighed my bottle when i got home and had almost 3lbs in it....15lb bottle.
Next time new o2 sensor, K&N filter in, full bottle!!!
The races where so freakn' close is was awsome.

UPR pulley and idler = POS. He went from a 2.90 to a 2.80 pulley and raced without tuning it? Brilliant. I went from a 2.90 to a 2.76, which is very close to what he did, and my A/F shot up to 15:1.

He had his tuner look at his current tune and the guy said he would not need a new tune. He or I didn't like the way the UPR idler pulley lined up with the charger pulley, it was off by a 2-3mm.
We will race again soon so I can have all my ducks in a row and see if the out come is different with the 2.80 pulley.
People, i know it is fun to blow the doors off someone!..........But there is nothing funner than door to door racing with 2 totally different setups like this Cobra and my SS.
