beat a turbo supre....89 not sure what year 88 or 89. turbo auto 3.0 straight six. It was a real cool car removeable roof kinda like t-tops we met out side a movie through some mutual friends and headed to our racin' spot just for the hell of it. he hung with me through first and half of second gear but then i checked out. he said his mods were a boost controller and exhaust. and nitto 555rs.

A MKIII with a 1JZ with your basic performance Upgrades should have power levels close to, and comparable to LS1 cars. Stock LS1's that is... but everyone and their mother has a Lid and exhaust of some sort...

The 89ish Supra had like 230hp, right around there. My friend has the exact kind you're talking about, but with a 5 speed. Fun cars, but have nothing on (newer) fbodys
