cobra death
Whats up guys...yeah it's been awhile but I now have the cobra fixed and back in good condition.... its the same set up as last time but with a T-trim and 8 more pounds of boost and a shot of gas, I will be going up to CAM (carolina auto masters) this saturday if everything goes right and see if they can fit me in the scheduel to get a dyno run. but on to the story...
This morning coming to work down 147 i ran onto a black 03-04 cobra with a really loud exhaust...being the nice guy i am i pull up next to him and give him a thumbs up...he looks at me with the "my car is better than yours" and rolls his eyes .... so i pull down into 3rd and goose it a little to see if he is game...sure enough i see his front end jump up and he goes wot....i take off behind him... mid way through 3rd i have about 6 cars on him and pulling really hard, i grab 4th and the tractor trailor lengths start to commense... i slowed and he tried to pull the whole ricer fly by thing and i wasnt about to let that happen... so i jumped back into 3rd and matched his speed....he looks over at me and throws the finger.. and takes the closest exit...all in all it was fun to see what i could do aginst him...dont know what all he had except exhaust but it was fun...wish he wasnt such a dick but o well...he got what he deserved...many many more kills to come brought to you inpart by EvilStang... later guys

Good kill. What is it with some 03/04 guys that think their chit don't stink? I love running those guys at the track. But there are some that aren't bad but I've only ran into a few. -Mark
EDIT: How do you like the T-trim? How different is it from an S-trim? I'm torn between a T-trim and a novi 2000. Thanks.

Good kill. I always hated c0cky Cobra drivers. Used to love dragging them around when I had my Cobra. S'alright, it quits raining and I get this brute dialed in, I'll be out hunting again.

My current set up is a cobra SHM block with a full stroker rotating assembly using manley forged pistons and I-beam stroker rods, forged steel 3.75” stroker crankshaft, my heads have full race porting with complete cylinder unshrouding, high rev dual springs,fully machined and assembled with mag-bronze guides, dual springs, titanium retainers, hardened locks, oversize valves, seats and race valve seals, my blower is the Vortech T-Trim with 15psi i wana go higher such as 20+ but im tryin to break the motor in before i do that, im sprying the motor with a 150 shot, im runing custom ground cams from SHM...theres alot more but i would have to be at home to give you the whole list but yeah theres a little bit about my set up....havnt ran it yet bc the tracks around me are closed but hopefully sometime soon i will get the chance and will post the numbers
