Notch vs. Z28
The other night me and one of my friends was leaving InNOut burger when a Z28 revved at me so i turn my car towards him. When get by him and 3 of his other friends, i ask him what he has and he says stock and he and his friends laugh so i tell him that im stock also, haha. So he was like you want to run em? Im like sure but lets go at a roll and he was like sure. (I had to because i was on my street tires and dont catch traction for ****. So he jumps in his car with one of his friends and the others jump in a truck and we get onto the freeway. Well were going about 60 and i yell out you jump and ill follow. So he jumps and so i floor it and start pulling bus lengths on him. By the time i hit 135 i had to have about 15+ cars on him and im not joking. So when we pull back over again he was like wtf you have and i said laughing stock haha . So then i tell him 331 stroker w/ Novi 3000 s/c. I then find out he had a lid, headers, exhaust and it was a 01. He gave me props and i headed back out to my house. BTW my car should be doing about 9.4-9.6 now. :

Good kill!
One thing........
If you are throwing some 700+ hp to the ground on a lightened and caged (I'm guessing?) car and you beat a guy with bolt-ons who is maybe putting 300+ hp to the ground, should you really be bragging? I don't think I'd run the risk of racing and getting a ticket on the streets with that big of a power difference.
On the other hand, it's good to teach some punks a lesson every now and then. Any pics of your car or build? What compression are you running in your motor and who did you get the block from?

Anyways i have a Dart 331 with JE 8.5:1 pistons, Eagle forged crank (3.25" throw), Eagle forged H-beam rods(5.4" w/ L-19 bolts), Comp cam hydralic roller(.544/.576) TEA stage 3 twisted wedge heads, and Novi 3000 s/c. Good kill! You definitally have a nasty car there.
draven94, I never got the impression that he was overly bragging or that the other guy was a punk. Just an observation.

Q: What types of superchargers does Paxton Automotive manufacturer?
A: Paxton Automotive manufactures 6 different centrifugal superchargers. The NOVI family is Paxton Automotive's high performance line of gear driven superchargers. The NOVI line includes the NOVI-1000, the NOVI-1000RR, the NOVI-2000, the NOVI-2000RR and the NOVI-3000. The NOVI superchargers represent the highest level of quality and performance available in any centrifugal supercharger. The drive element consists of a helical-cut gear (40% wider than the competition) and shaft combination cut from a billet piece of steel. This results in quiet operation and unsurpassed durability. With a wide variety to choose from, a NOVI supercharger fits your needs from a 200 horsepower 4-cylinder engine to a 1,700 horsepower V-8.
The SN-"Classic" is a modern day version of the original Paxton Supercharger dating back to the 1960s. The supercharger has transformed over the years and variations have carried the following names: SN-60, SN-89, SN-92, SN-93, VR4, NOVI-GSS and the SN-2000. The supercharger utilizes a unique "ball drive" internal mechanism that provides 5-6 pounds of boost pressure with a completely silent operation.
2000 is on the left and a 3000 on the right.

I'm looking for somewhere around your Novi 2000's times once the tracks open back up. Haven't had a real tire on it any of the times I've been out.
If I pulled alot of weight she'd really be moving. Haven't gotten it on the scales but she's gotta be 38-3900+ lbs with me (255lbs) in it. Heavy azz pig .

Hey dont worry SSmokin01,i myself weigh 240, so i aint that small eithier myself, But yah my car only weighs in at 3000 lbs w/o driver. But the novi 2000 starts building boost pretty good earlier then wasnt enough for my car anymore, lol. Anyways i wish i still had my LS1, i totaled it when i crashed going 65mph. But i only built my notch for less than about $14k. Its fun when your at the track and people have like $40k z06's and your whooping the **** out of them, haha.
