SRT-8 Charger v.s. Me
#23
The one I ran was definetly suprised that a pickup truck (but he didn't know about the LS1 inside it) went the quarter mile almost right beside him. By the end, his rear bumper was at my front bumper.
He asked me what I'd done to my truck and I tried to just get away with telling him I had an LS1 in it. He said, "yeah right, what else? I have a stock LS1 at home and this thing'll beat it - what did you do to YOUR LS1?" I admitted to a cam.
I don't see how anyone eludes to calling them slow - even stock ones, cause their not but a few tenths behind a stock LS1.

However, being a hemi powered owner, the pcm has always been the week point. After about 5k miles, the pcm releases additional power, for some unknown reason, the computer has a break-in period. Now I believe that superchips broke the code in the beginning of last year or the end of the 2004 year. So using a superchips programmer wakes up the that motor. I can't wait til hptuners comes out with their dodge credits, hehe. It's only a matter of time.

Much like the 5.0 mustang you gotta really look for a stock LS1 car.
