porsche carerra 4 & C6
Was MMOB on the freeway when I noticed this porsche coming up fast through traffic. He buzzed my driver side then hopped off to pay a toll, crossing in front of me to exit on the right for the toll booth. I thought, OK hotshot, looks like you want to play. So I slowed down to about 50-55, and sure enough, he rockets back up and passes me again, at which point I give chase and we find an opening in traffic and line up. We were at about 80 mph, and I was in 4th taching about 3k rpm. he jumps on it and I responded and pulled him to about 100, and started walking away to about 120, where we both had to let off due to traffic. We got past the traffic and lined up again, same results but this time to around 140, where I put about 1-1 1/2 cars on him.
He took the next exit, gave me a thumbs up and a wave and I responded in kind.
Overall, I was kind of impressed with his car, as it appeared to be just a 4 cylinder. All I saw was Carerra 4 on the rear bonnet. I don't know that much about porsches, and saw no indication that it was supercharged or anything. That's the first time I've ever had a run in with a porsche on the freeway, and I have to say I believe he would have ate my lunch if I were driving my 99 C5, which was stock except for a vararam CAI.
