Default Ran a GTO and V12 S500

So i ran my friends 04 GTO today. We raced about a month ago before my LT's and duals and i edged him out by a fender. This was from a 60 roll on the highway. The GTO only has an intake and it is very fast for being basically stock. I thought it would be a lot slower.

First run: We go from a 2nd gear roll but he hits it first and jumped out about a car. I quickly reeled him in and passed him very easily. (he said he accidentally left his TC on

Second run: We went from a 2nd gear roll again and he jumped again. He had a 1/2 car jump but i reeled him in and buy the time we shifted into fourth i had about 2-3 cars on him. I was pulling him the entire time.

Third run: This run was from a 3rd gear roll on the highway. I looked in the mirror and seen him drop it and take off, so i did the same. He had the jump again this time he had the momentum and a 1 car lead. I reeled him in and put about 1 1/2 cars on him before we let off. We shut down at about 130.
At the end he told " I was getting the jump every time on purpose " He told me he was getting the jump because i knew i would pull him. Those were some fun runs

.......I had a short run with an older Mercedes Benz. I dont know much about MB but this one said S500 and it had V12 badges on the side.

This run was from about 60-130. I seen this MB jump up on my *** and ride me for a while, so as soon as the traffic cleared i switched lanes so he could get on the side. As i'm slowing down so we can line up i see him punch it in my mirror. I hit it as soon as he was lined up with me, even though he had momentum. We were even for about a second then i pulled off on him and by 130 he was about 5 buses back. I'm assuming he just quit after i pulled him that hard.

Then he pulls next to me with his window down. So i roll mine down and give him a thumbs up. This guy was VERY excited. He gave me props and told me i had a badass car and gave me a thumbs up and we parted ways.

WOW!! This is the longest post in the world.....SORRY

PS......my mods are: Lid, filter, MAF, Bellow, CAI, Ported TB, LT's, Duals

V12= 600, not 500.

What shape? If it was the old heavy tank-type thing, 380hp/420tq.

If a 200-ish shape, then either a 360hp/400tq NA V12, or a 500hp/600tq TT V12.

Nice kills and my guess is that it the old s600 v12. My best friends dad had an older (99 ish?) sl600 v12 and it was pretty slow for a v12 powered vert.

It was an older body style.

For a V12....it was pretty slow.

Those things were amazing for 1994 but 13 years later everyone has caught up. My uncle owned a 94 S600 and a 95 SL600 back when they were new cars, they were amazing to drive. Smooth as silk, and some serious grunt.

For being so big and old it did move pretty good.

I was just happy to run because it had been over a month

I would of raced a soccer mom in a minivan at this point
