Killed a 96-98 Cobra last night Well I was coming home from my g/f's house last night and as soon as I pull out of her neighborhood at 3am (had a long Valentine's night 
) I see a red 96-98 Cobra roll up to the redlight I was going to. I pull up along side him with his foglights on and his passenger is a mid 20's-early30's guy with a baseball cap on (boyfriend?) He looks over and me then leans over and says something to the driver and the driver revs alittle (it had an exhaust) and lets the clutch go alittle and the car jumped a decent bit for a DOHC car so I knew he had 4.10+ gears. I thought to myself this should be a fun race. I just smile and keep my car idling. I thought about opening the bottle but remembered what happened last time with my bottle pressure being so low (note to self, buy bottle heater) so I just decided I'd run him on motor. I see the other light turn yellow and I ease my clutch out alittle bit and then our light turns green. I didn't hear him rev up so I didn't try to launch. We both bog alittle then its on! My car blows up 1st gear in smoke so I ****** 2nd real fast. He jumps about a fender on me and I feather out 2nd until it hooks then get back into it. I pull along even with him then I hit 3rd gear, get alittle sideways some and put about 2 carlengths on him. Slam 4th gear and put bus lengths on him. I'm hoping after 3rd gear he let off! Anyways he wouldn't come back up to me, I wanted a roll race to see how my car did power wise. Oh well, was a fun kill!
