People running EBC brakes: Do yours still make noise? I've had the EBC rotors and green pads on the car for about two months now, and they still make a slight hissing sound when I stop. Is this normal? They seem to stop fine, but I did notice the rotors have little spots on them, too (I thought they would be smooth and shiny by now).

Re: People running EBC brakes: Do your still make noise? Are the rotors slotted or dimpled/drilled? If so, they will make some noise. If they are "blanks" (no slots/holes, etc) then you will need input from others with those pads (I've not played with them in person).

Re: People running EBC brakes: Do your still make noise? They will make "whirring" or "buzzing" noises when you stop. That is the nature of the beast. Each dimple or slot makes a slight noise when the pad grabs it and you will hear that happening as a "noise". Good luck!

I am going to hit a road course next month (Gingerman in South haven Michigan) and I just wanted to make sure that there was nothing wrong with them before I abused them. And yes, I am changing pads too.
