Default Rear Suspension too Stiff

I installed Hotchkis rear springs with QA1 shocks I already had. I adjusted the shocks to 2 from soft. The car felt real stiff, so I removed the bumpstop aluminum spacer which was bottoming out on the rear end. Now I have about 2 inches of travel from bumpstop to rear end but the car still feels a little stiff. What gives, I want to install some bilsteins shocks that I have to see it helps. I want that new car feel but with a lowered stance.I know its not going to be soft because the springs are a higher rate, but at least so it can be comfortable and nice.

Koni's ...Do it ... Hotchkis are great springs, you just need the correct Shock setup.. QA1's tend to be a little stiff..

Dragshocks + lowering springs = worst ride
If you want the car to ride well you need shocks that actually dampen the springs.

How would it feel with Hotchkis springs and bilsteins. Will it still be too stiff? Are Hotchkis springs and bilsteins a good combo?

Try full soft on the QA1s in the rear for street driving.
You'll never get QA1s perfectly dialed in for street driving even the QA1 DAs ( I know since I've tried).
That's because their designed primarily for drag racing with street ability being a secondary concern.

Maybe try the comp engeneering shocks? they seem to be a compromise between the koni's and QA1.
