Default Spohn Torque Arm weight question....

Ok,
Sprung and got the chrome-moly, but when I opened the box...it feels like 150million pounds! I put the spohn arm, cross member, and D/S loop pieces on my digital scale and it came out to 33.5 lbs. Has anyone else weighed theirs (steel or chrome-moly)? It visually looks like mild steel to me, but how can you tell the dif in mild steel and chrome-moly? Both are magnetic...

If the unit is Moly it should be TIG welded (very small type weld) versus MIG welded. If you can take a picture of the weld I can tell you which one it is.....

Thanks guys!
I figured it out today. Just for future reference, the moly spohn arms have a hole drilled in the 3rd center support of the arm. They are tigged but very large beads, thats why it confused me because it looked like a mig lol. Thanks!
