Question Heater hose mod long-term effects

Just wondering if doing the heater hose mod has any long-term effects like the heater hose rubbing through to the spring, or denting the upper spring mount surface due to the new uneven (and increased) pressure points?

You will need to keep an eye on it. The hose is not as thick as the isolator so there is a chance that it will wear through.

I haven't done it yet but I was going to. Anybody else checked their heater hose mod lately?
