Default noobie question - where to go? what to get?

well i know there are quite a few options when it comes to brakes and everything in that general area.

i looking at upgrading to slotted rotors (i know they tend to be better and they look a lot nicer behind some sweet lookin' rims) but don't really know where to begin.

i'm not a racer or anything high-performance...usually just normal day-to-day driving stuff.

when buying a "kit" i don't know if pads, calipers, etc all come together or what really i should be looking at. my brakes are fine (30k) but things are ugly there. i was going to paint my calipers (dark red) but don't know if i should get new ones with rotors or what?

can someone help me out? where's a good place to start and not spend a bunch of money?

Default Here's a Suggestion!

Hello
I just wanted to throw this out there for you that we offer a C5 brake upgrade kit. I will come with everything you need but the lines you have on your car will be a little too small but you will be able to get new ones at your local parts store. Below is a link to show you what we have to offer. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will be glad to help.
