Which one do you have and what pros/cons have you had with it. I'm going to be using it on a drag car(bolt on LT1 right now) so it has to be light and sturdy. Any input helps.

The umi seems to look a little sturdier than the bmr from pictures. Any other opinions?

I have a PA K member. I installed it back in 04, so the design has changed and gotten better. When I get some exta money I am going to switch to a UMI. It looks alot stronger than the PA and it will go nice with the rest of my umi suspention

UMI will get my busniess for everything but the K-member because BMR has the turbo k-member for added clearence. I have heard that UMI is making a turbo k-member, but no details or release date. Hopefully they will have one out with in the next month or so - if not...

I almost have UMI every thing under my car except torque arm, tunnel brace and torque arm relocation. But I will be getting those as soon as UMI makes a tunnel brace. Back on topic, the UMI K-member is really beefy and much lighter than stock. I needed a hand getting the stock one out, but the UMI went in easily. I did have a problem with the alignment hole being too small, but Jerry and UMI's tech department really helped me out.

I got the UMI K member and I love that thing! EVERYTHING is easier to work on!
No issues what so ever, with the reduction in weight my car seems to ride a little better, besides with the lowering of the car now I got a better alignment.
