Default ABS delete kit...

I need to do an ABS delete kit for some clearence issues.
I have seem many kits and like them all.
Problem: how do i tune my lights out in the dash and so my car does not throw codes? I though EFIlive could controle it, but they are two separate controllers.
I really do not want to cut wires, to use the tape method.

I suppose this is a modified tape method, but because of my spool, I have no ABS, even though my ABS is still installed, dumb I know, but I cant see myself paying $200 for a block of aluminum and some lines in order to remove 4 lbs of ABS block...

Anyway, I pulled the guage cluster and placed a piece of foil behind the ABS see through on the guage overlay. This way I do not see tape on the front, and the foil prevents any light from coming through. Looks as though the light is simply off...
