Default Road Race Info

Hey did some searching and couldn't find much about guys who road race. I am trying to start a thread that deals with info only on road racing. hopefully some guys can chime in. Looking for suspension info as well as brake and power combinations that have worked well. Hopefully this isnt a repost. thanks guys.

What kinds of questions you have? If you're going to build to race within a certain class, read the rules first. Then, read them again. Build within those rules.

In general, here's the order that I'd recommed doing stuff.

- safety (different things depending on if it's still a street car or a racecar)
- tires (something dedicated for the track, as it'll chew your regular street tires up in a few laps)
- brakes
- suspension
- race tires (if you don't already have them)
- weight lightening
- mild power (intake, exhaust)
- aero
- more weight lightening
- more power (cam, etc.)
