Default Lowering my Camaro

Hey, i would like to lower my V-6, but i also eventually plan to put a LS1 in it. So do i buy V-6 or V-8 lowering springs because a LS1 is a aluminum block and heads and shouldnt weigh much more than my V-6. Any sugestions appreciated greatly...thanks

Some companies make separate springs, some don't. Strano springs are the same springs for both cars, for exactly the reason you menioned. Hotchkis does the same thing. An all cast-iron V-6 with an aluminum intake isn't really any lighter than an all aluminum V-8 with a plastic intake....

So would you recomend just buying a set of V-8 lowering springs and call it done?

I would... that's why the springs aren't any different.
