i prefer boxed because you can use the whole side of the car as a jacking/jack stand point

I believe round is stronger by mass but is usually lighter than the boxed style so they end up not in the long run.... not 100% sure though.

Like Fbodyman mentioned above the 2 differences in the boxed and tubular is the weight the tubular are lighter. There are no strength differences with our we have not had any issues what so ever.
