non adj vs adj a arms?

non adj vs adj a arms? just completed the rear suspension today so i need to figure out the front now. i plan on using my car as a drag car with mild weekend cruising. my question is, do i really need adjustable a arms for straight line driving or would the benefit be more in the line of weight reduction vs stock a arms?
