Default instaling qa1 coil overs on the front

i removed the strut tops from my stock set up today, do i need to put the black cover back on? also there was like a small spacer under the black cover would i reinstall that.

are you referring to the dust boot when you say black cover??... they keep dirt, water, debris, etc from getting into the strut body so i would put those back on... and the spacer, if i'm understanding correctly, you will definitely need... it provides a flat surface for the bottom of the strut mount to rest on

yes that is what i was refering to
do youi know where i could buy the new dust covers from
i had to tear mine up to get the strut tops

possibly the dealer but how did that happen?... you only have to remove the nut on the top of the strut mount to get it off, i don't see how you tore the dust boots up
