Default Any Gen 2 suspension pro advise?

Hey gang, just getting this on the road, what would you do is the question. Its 1" to 1.25 high in the front to make this 81z level.Do i put new springs in it? they say they lower 2" or do I cut them? if so how much? heated? dump question:do some heat them in the car?

I did powerder coat only a few things on this build, springs were one of the items.Appreciate your advice

Havent driven it much but OEM design of the brakes may call for an upgrade.

Yes. Definitely look at hotchkins front and rear springs. I had a set on my 79 Z and loved them. I can't remember what shocks I had but the springs were great. Now Vette Brakes carries a good line of brake and suspension components. As does SSBC on brakes up grades. If you go with rear disk you will need to change out the combination valve from a Trans Am that had it or a adjustable proportioning valve. Master Power also offers brake upgrades as well. Many are a direct bolt on.
