Default Side to side... my suspension is WAY off..?

Guys... just noticed this while doing my sub frame connectors and lower control arms (UMI). My passenger side has 2 inches of clearance from tire to body while my drivers side has 3.5 inches??? What the F??? Also the rear end is shifted to one side by about 2 inches... (I'm going to fix this with an adjustable soon).... I know this car was in an accident in it's past and is this what has caused this HUGE difference in measurement???

You can't tell unless you measure but when you do... HOLY CRAP...

Give me some peace of mind here.... please...

A lot of the height variance will be corrected when you center the rear but I have to admit that's a huge variance and I also suspect the upper panhard rod may be bent. Unfortunately that would mean that the frame point where the PHR attaches would be bent as well....interested to see the outcome.

This is how they came from the factory. There have been many posts about this here going back years. It's always higher on the driver's side. (If it was just random bad it would be half the time driver's side, half pass. side.) Mine's got the same thing. I "adjusted" mine by adding a spacer in the endlink on the pass. side. Don't bother with different springs, shocks, etc it won't make any difference. If you look at where the control arm bolts on the driver's side it hangs down lower than the pass. side, due to (I'm guessing) body attaching higher on driver's side.

Plus yours might be off more due to panhard being off.

Thanks to all.

For what it's worth.. the guy I bought the car from didn't do any suspension work to the car EXCEPT for the torque arm. He replaced the stocker with an Edelbrock because he bent the stocker pretty good (from what I'm told).

The $ never ends with these things....
