Default ball jjoint replacment

im trying to replace the lower ball joint on my 94 camaro.. i cant get it to press out.. any suggestioins.. is there a writeup out there.. what am i doing wrong

how are you trying to press it out? the c clamp method works but it really help to have a press. i did both mine in about 45 min with a press.

its been covered before..........but........i did mine myself........the c clamp tool thingy did not work for me because of the angles on the arm.....kept on sliding around.....ended up on a bench press......but the angles were still a problem....bent my arm a little.....to do it over again i would either buy the special GM tool or take it to the dealer

To get it out just use a jack under the control arm and use a hammer and beat it out. will take 2 swings and its out. Then you can go to autozone and REnt the tool to install it. ITs very easy and costs nothing but a ball joint and a lil time
