How much does it cost to rebuild a QA1 shock that is busted? Its a front strut shock for a 98+ camaro.

What are some ways to bust a shock. I bought a set of shocks from this guy and when I got them in one of the front struts is busted. He claims that the shipping company did it but it just looks used and abused to me. the fluid is leaking out of the top of the shock where the shaft slides in and out..... I know that sounds funny but yea, thats where its leaking.

That would definately not happen during shipping. The shock could have been abused, or it could be really old. There's not really any way to tell unless the shaft is bent.
