Default Stock shocks with airbags?

Funds are getting a bit low for my build so Im trying to work up some temporary solutions. Would using stock shocks with airbags help at all? Im not concerned with ride quality so much as being able to launch straight and hard. If this isnt a good way to go, what do you recommend for a cost efficient rear shock setup?

That's a good way to go on a budget--just like RamAir96TA said to do it.

The air bag solution in the right rear has been used for years but I am not that big of a fan...

If money is real tight I would use the option a set of the Competition Engineering 3-way adjustable shocks instead.
