Default V6 springs on ls1

I was wondering if they're good to put on the v8 car?

I too thought about this as the springs being made for the lighter V6 should drop the front end about 1/2 " while giving a softer ride .
We used this method back in the seventies to lower the front end without destroying the ride . Back before lowering springs became all the rage .

are you sure the v6 is lighter? The v6 is an iron block after all.

the 3800 weights 390 pounds
the LS1 weights right at 400 pounds.
10 pounds really gonna make that big of a difference?

Not to worried about it lowering it I have the pro kit on my car now, hate the camber wear on the tires, plus I'm trying to go more drag set up
