Default Backing plates
Where is a good place to get some backing plates so I don't have to take mine of when ordering a rear? I've tried googling it, ebay...is there a better term than backing plate?

They are getting harder to find that is for sure. They are a discontinued item from GM now. As for used DjFury gave good advice to what a lot of people are doing to find them.
