Default Simple question about swapping rotors and pads..

To re-install the new pads, I know I have to get the pistons back on the calipers. First off, if I clamp them slowly back, will stopping once the edge of the piston is at the rubber piece be far enough?? And secondly, I have heard the rear calipers have to be spun back, any truth to this?

Just push the piston in the caliper until it stops. To the second question, if you are doing this on an your f-body you dont have twist in calipers. Just use a normal piston tool, C-clamp, or large pair of channel locks to push the piston in.
